Bullish Until Proven Guilty

When the markets opened trading last Friday I was convinced I would be publishing an alarm note— the preceding Wednesday and Thursday sessions were held up by market breadth keeping positive. By my count in the last three weeks there have been 7 sessions where an alarm was near trigger, Friday being the most recent. Nonetheless, the market staged a strong recovery rally to end the week. Until there is an alarm scenario the mantra will carry on— bullish until proven guilty.
